The Kenan Chapel is open and available for meditation and prayer from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. every day unless a prior reservation has been made.

What We Offer

Although the Chapel is used primarily by the residents of Landfall and the greater Wilmington area, anyone is welcome to make a reservation for a private event.

The Chapel is conveniently located in the Landfall community, close to the Arboretum gate off Military Cutoff Road. It is situated in peaceful surroundings with beautifully maintained, mature landscaping.

The Country Club of Landfall’s Nicklaus or Dye Clubhouses are popular choices for receptions and gatherings following your event and is less than a five-minute drive away.

Chapel volunteers will assist you in planning your event to make it a truly successful and memorable occasion.

Chapel Availability

The Chapel may be reserved during the day or night for religious purposes, weddings, baptisms, memorials, funerals, recitals/concerts, or similar functions, and subject to the Usage and Guidelines of the Chapel. Please make your inquiry as soon as possible to secure an available date for your event. Please note that not all dates are available as some requests may be in process. Please feel free to call us with any inquiries.​

Florists may decorate up to three (3) hours prior to the event.​

Seating capacity is 100 persons.
(120 with folding chairs)

Chapel Guidelines

We understand the importance of creating an event that reflects your beliefs and values. Our team will provide you with a range of options, including the use of the grand piano, organ, baptismal fount, and the surrounding gardens and woods for your ceremony, as well as recommended venues for your reception. We will ensure your special day is a true reflection of your desired experience.
